Fit4YouMke
“Our ThriveOn loan helped us to increase marketplace pop-ups, hire our first employee, pay off a vehicle loan, expand vending travel, join two chambers of commerce, strengthen marketing, and grow wholesale distribution of our Lavender Lemonade citywide."
Robert & Jolie Brox- Owners
Long before their first brick-and-mortar location opened, Robert and Jolie Brox were building Fit4YouMKE with determination, discipline, and a vision for healthy living centered on community. After 14 years in business and three years at their brick and mortar, the company reached a point where added financial stability was needed to support operations and growth. Through the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s ThriveOn Loan Program, Fit4YouMKE received timely capital to cover operating costs, invest in inventory and equipment, and pay down debt.
With stronger financial footing in place, the business hired its first employee, strengthening capacity and easing workload. Fit4YouMKE also hired a digital designer to redesign and relaunch its labels and website while continuing to expand its sales. Technical assistance through Legacy Redevelopment Corporation helped the owners sharpen strategy, strengthen marketing, grow wholesale accounts for their Lavender Lemonade, and build momentum for continued growth.
